Re: “BART’s wish list for $100 billion ‘mega measure’: Second bay crossing, new fare gates” (Mercurynews.com, Sept. 30):
The $100 billion “mega measure” BART may be working on to build another link across the bay is another example of already existing BART getting even better and Silicon Valley again being left in the dust.
After five decades, there is still no functioning BART in Santa Clara County. When is our Board of Supervisors going to engage the BART board in a way that moves us up on the priority list?
The two stations that do exist in our county have never been used and are merely gathering dust as the communications tech is being botched.
